CPR Level Basic Life Support (BLS) & AED Training for Health Care Providers
As of January 1st, 2019, Canadian Red Cross has discontinued CPR-HCP (Health Care Provider) and is offering BLS (Basic Life Support) as the replacement. This change was made to stay in line with the needs of our professional responders (Nurses/Paramedics/Fire Fighters). CPR Level BLS is equivalent to CPR-HCP.
Designed to build participant confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and provide the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation. Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy can also be added as additional certifications to this course.
All Red Cross first aid certifications are recognized and valid across Canada.
