Standard First Aid & CPR Level Basic Life Support (BLS) With AED Training for Health Care Providers
As of January 1st, 2019, Canadian Red Cross has discontinued CPR-HCP (Health Care Provider) and is offering BLS (Basic Life Support) as the replacement. This change was made to stay in line with the needs of our professional responders (Nurses/Paramedics/Fire Fighters). CPR Level BLS is equivalent to CPR-HCP.
Designed for in-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals, pre-hospital, and care providers (which may include professionals in a fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol) to build participant confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and provide the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation.
All Red Cross first aid certifications are recognized and valid across Canada.

In purchasing this class, you agree to participate fully in the activities required in your training class, following all safety measures that are in place, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Full participation is required in order to receive certification. If you choose not to to complete the in-class activities, you will NOT receive certification, as the training will be incomplete. A refund will not be issued.
