Marine Basic First Aid & CPR Level C With AED Training
This is a Blended Learning Training Course. The self-paced, online session MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO THE IN-CLASS SESSION, and the certificate of completion for the online session must be brought to the in-class skills session (printable version or online version) and shown to our Red Cross first aid instructor.
This course consists of an additional hour of training added to the Standard First Aid course, designed to meet the needs of those expected to provide first aid in a marine environment. Course uses a combination of lecture, discussion, and scenarios taken from the marine/fishing industry to teach the required knowledge and skills. Course meets the requirements of Transport Canada outlined in Transport Publication (TP) 13008 E. (Standard First Aid & CPR C with additional scenarios and skills for Marine situations.)
Duration: 8 hours online learning + 8.5 hours in-class (Online learning time will vary depending on the learner)
3-year Red Cross certification.
All Red Cross first aid certifications are WSIB recognised and valid across Canada.
You must bring your online certification to do the in-class portion.
Minimum age requirement: 16 years or older

In purchasing this class, you agree to participate fully in the activities required in your training class. Full participation is required in order to receive certification. If you choose not to complete the in-class activities, you will NOT receive certification, as the training will be incomplete. A refund will not be issued.
*Online learning links from the Canadian Red Cross are sent out Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. Online learning links are NOT sent out evenings, weekends, or holidays. Please plan your online learning time accordingly.*
